This is what is mentioned on the I-765 form.

Check page number 9. It speaks about Interim EAD, and this document expires on 08/31/08. If they have stopped issuing Interim EADs how come it says the opposite on this document. Just wondering:confused:

Can we have the scanned copy of this letter posted on IV's homepage? Either replace the image for Sept 18th rally or put it above it so that its the first thing people see on the homepage. After the campaign is over we can change it back to what it was.
This is in no way to undermine anything about the Sept 18th rally. I just think that this would really help inspire a lot of people.

Just in-case one gets layed-off and has an EAD, can that person buy a 7-Eleven or a Gas Station?
Can the EAD holder actually run the gas station/7-eleven by working/being present there? (Maybe he/she can work there and take all the profit but no salary).
What happens if there is an RFE asking for proof of employment during this period?
Can you not think anything other than a gas station or seven eeleven ? Come on guys think out side the box. I don't have a great idea to suggest you to begin with but I know gas station and grocery stores are very typical desi ideas

Approved I-140 & H1-B extended for 3 years beyond 6 years because of approved I-140. Can NOT file I-485 because of retrogression
Next step H1-B transferred to new employer & redo Labor & I-140.
Question :
Can you file I-485 for both employers at the same time ???? & choose whichever comes first. Will there be any complicated issue if you filed I-485 with the 2nd employer after 1st employer has filed I-485
Bottom line ... How complicated will the life be if one changes job after 3 yr. extension of H1 based on approved I-140 ????
Please share your info as the attorneys are nuts..

you can also put links on an image in dreamweaver with image maps.
it's very easy. Just bring the image (or images if you have cut it up) into dreamweaver. Click on the image and in your Properties Pannel you will notice a bunch of options for drawing. Choose the square or the circle or whatever shape you want to make and just draw ontop of your image. This will be an active Hyperlink and will not ad and colours or outlines to your pic.

I believe they go by RD if the PD is current. My RD is jul 2nd and my application reached them early AM on Jul 2nd.

What was the status on USCIS online system when you got an RFE? The reason I am asking is today my status changed to "Document Mailed to the Applicant". Not sure whether this is an approval or RFE. Of course will know in few days.

Paper filing works better for AP at TSC.
( I had a bad experience when I E-filed at TSC last time.)

You will have to prove that you will come back to your home country after the end of the H1B. Look at page 237 of the new bill. It has the following:
(c) CLARIFYING THE IMMIGRANT INTENT PROVISION.� Subsection (b) of
14 section 214 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1184(b))
15 is amended�

17 (1) by striking the parenthetical phrase �(other than a
18 nonimmigrant described in subparagraph (L) or (V) of section
19 101(a)(15), and other than a nonimmigrant described in any

Based upon the situation AOS you can move to different employer without invoking AC21, if the employer may not revoke I-140, just continue to work with H1B if it is valid and make sure you are employed, if you get RFE from USCIS make sure you have good attorney to prove that you have moved to new company and there by invoking AC21, you may not get RFE this could be worst case situation.

I have done this myself and got approval couple of months back. There is no real risk of interfiling. Your eb2 application will for all practical purposes will be like a regular application ( years of exp till date, exp etc)

I see. I thought it was your lawyer that sent all your documents. So do you actually have a lawyer?

Try sending the complete info with all the supporting documents, and a letter mentioning that you are sending this in addition to the one that was filed electronically and this was to correct the omission present in the e-filed app.
